What Is Permanent Jewellery?

The hottest new jewellery trend!

You may have seen this hot new Tik Tok trend of beautiful, bespoke jewellery that is welded with a tiny spark into position on your body to give you clasp-free, hassle free jewellery that doesn't tarnish, rust or need removing. It's a beautiful, fun experience for friends, couples, mothers and daughters or anyone who doesn't want to wrestle with a clasp.

Why Get Permanent Jewellery?

There are many reasons that people want bonded jewellery. Firstly it takes away the clasp, which can look unbalanced and unsightly. Clasps also tend to hang down and many of us find ourselves constantly pulling them back out of sight. With welded jewellery like this, you eliminate that issue. This is also a great way of fastening jewellery for people who are less dextrous , taking out the annoying fiddling about and frustration.

There is also a huge sentimental reason to have a bracelet or necklace fixed permanently. It's a beautiful way of marking an event such as an engagement or wedding. This is also a great activity for hen parties, teenage get-togethers, birthdays, Mothers' Day and any event you want to celebrate with a memento.

How Does Permanent Jewellery Work?

Permanent Jewellery allows you to customise a bespoke piece of jewellery, be it a bracelet, anklet or necklace in your choice of precious metal. You can decide to add charms if you like and our experienced technicians will size it and then fix it into place with a process known as sparking. This is where a tiny weld is put onto the joining ring in the chain for a secure fixing. We then polish the piece so you get a seamless, polished piece of jewellery that you never need to take off.

Who Is It Good For?

Permanent Jewellery is good for anyone who wears jewellery as it is just a different way of fastening the necklace, bracelet or anklet. The people that we see the most are:
  • Hen Parties
  • Valentine’s Day
  • Birthday Parties
  • Mothers Day
  • Engagement
  • Bridal Jewellery
  • Friends
  • Teen Parties

What If I Want To Take It Off?

Sometimes situations come up where you may need to remove your permanent jewellery, such as an MRI. No problem! You can easily snip the jump ring (joining ring) and keep your jewellery on one side. Then just come back and we'll re-weld it into place when you're ready.
